Yeah, there is that problem with fl. But when it comes to ml, the problem becomes entirely different. He becomes so power-hungry and start kicking asses that I get really frustrated at every side or villain character. I get frustrated whenever a guy approaches fmc, whenever anyone challenges ml. Then there is that hard working thing. That ml will kill a fucking world destroying dragon, if he has to save others. My friends, gf whatever. He wins the match because he has dedication. Tenacity. Fuck that tenacity.

SO FUCKING TRUE!!! I guess it's because patriotism is so prevailent in China, Korea, and Japan, but I don't know the last time I read a fantasy light novel with a female pratagonist that didn't just end up relying on her love interest an absurd amount for whatever reason. Probably been at last a year or two, at least. The funniest part about it though, is that female characters can be really well written and overall interesting in these, only if they aren't the protagonist. It's as if there's some magic halo that just says that a woman couldn't be as interesting a protagonist as a man, honestly it's really annoying, especially since it means I have seen the exact same protagonist with differenet names and appearances a great many times.

Same, mostly female protagonist novels or manhwas tend to have incredibly op male lead, i still remember who made me a princess, the random black magician appeared with hell like powers, thank god the plot carried the story, death is the only ending for the villainess though i really thought that it would have a very op male lead as the magician guy, thankfully the guy isn't really fully overpowered

If your comment was directed towards me. I will say this. Nah, dude. I have read [your throne. ] And in spite of having a romantic subplot, I actually love it. Perhaps because it has 2 MCs and it's not your typical romance type of story. But whatever, my most hated genres are yaoi, shoujo and lastly yuri(a little bit). So, I don't actually hate the story where MC is a lady. It's just that, for me, the novel gets wasted when they introduce shoujo romance just like this book. If there is a book like [The world After the End] and ORV with a woman as MC, I will happily read it but sadly, that sort of book doesn't exist, my mate.
