    The biggest thing holding this novel back is simply how short the chapters are. Once you catch up it simply feels like you're getting strung along super slowly. This is a novel you set aside and catch up with once a week.

      He died after being attacked at the start before getting the book that ‘resurrected’ him. Just before that he was confirmed dead. His blood reach the book and he lived again.

        If you read this it actually hints he is the reincarnation of the god of death "Gabriel looked in the direction of the woman, having a familiar feeling. It was as if he had known the woman... "Goddess of Light..." he muttered. He had seen the woman once before" also in a previous chapter I forget exactly it's states that he is the god I think it was when he got the earing or smh the dude who is training him was the best friend of kayak and says "is this destiny... " It's like destiny always make him repeat his situation him being Gabriel/kyark

    as its gone on, its only gotten worse imo. feels like the MC doesnt have a character at all, just whatever the author feels like writing or making the MC do because it would be fun to write about, while not laying the groundwork for it ahead of time, i. e. the character's backstory or development, so everything ends up as an asspull and super random.

    Starting was good but for me it just kept getting bad. Just disappointed, had such a high hope. Read till 160 chapters. MC is an *d**t.

      Do you have anything to recommend besides the stuff you recommended the other guy? I'm on a stump with novels currently because I can't seem to find something that hooks me from the start. If possible can you recommend me novels as well? Preferably novels that have a sort of "system" that quantifies the power of the protagonist since that's kind of my preference regarding novels.
