Apart from the title and the cover some narrative arcs are pure poetry. I recommend reading but keep in mind that initially it is not that great and updates are quite slow. For me a good 4/5 .. the cover is unwatchable ^ _ ^

It starts off great, but the mcs personality is very inconsistent. By chapter 100, the author seems to have fully committed to the mc being a thoroughly good, compassionate, kind hearted guy with great conviction. I thought it would be an mc like Legendary Mechanic or Reincarnation Paradise, but thats not what happens. Which makes no sense. The entire starting premise was that he was soooo envious, to the extent that the tower actually acknowledged that envy. Dying over and over, no matter how "sane" he stayed, shouldve twisted his personality a little more. I enjoyed the romance, but the way he acted was very strange.

Finally, The romance arc finally broke his shackles regarding emotions because he regained or gained the newer and more joyful emotions i.e Love, Appreciation, etc. He even started to appreciate each chance at life that he gets. Appreciate the tower for helping him. Appreciating Sword Emperor for being there, and much more. So, By the point of 100ish chapters, Gongja just regained/reformed or even gained the innate kindness that he has now. P.S another thing to note is that his envy for greatness and power has also disappeared. shown by how he chose to be with Raviel than the most broken f*ck*ng OP skill possible that allows him to blitz through all of the 100 floors. Pre-regression Gongja definitely would have chosen the skill, if his sorry *ss then could even love or win the love of others.

well, I personally think it went quite well. Gongja, by the end of his resets, becomes completely sociopathic. I am surprised he retained the sanity to bother and test whether Flame Emperor deserved a chance of redemption or not. This, IMO, shows two things. Gongja kinda stopped his 'envy' at that point. Tho, It later resurfaces when he sees the Sword Saint(which doesn't make sense to me). Second, He is innately a good person. An envious *ssh*l*? Sure, But morally, He wasn't demented by 4000+ deaths enough to go and blindly kill a possible innocent human. After Yoo Sooha died and Gongja moved on with becoming strong, He had turned completely sociopathic but still cared for human life. Seeing how he could change others' happiness through the Black Witch on the 11th floor gave him the idea of trying his hardest for others, for each death, he started to care. At the Heavenly Demon Arc, Through the training and his master's death, He regained most of his emotions(Respect, Care, etc)

I gotta agree, but in my opinion the direction that the novel went is a lot better. I quite like how the mc grew and how he approaches human relations.

Now that my reading high is gone i will now rate the novel based on it's quality 4.2/5 A really great story with deep emotions that has a weak start but slowly builds up onto something amazing. The romance is lit (wished they focused more on that cause now the romance is slowly downgrading into something badly done) It has quite a lot of twist and turns which you can appreciate the mc is decent. His power to regress is quite op at the start but you can see it slowly getting more balanced the stronger he get's which I can appreciate

I'm still on the starting chapters, but since the MC copies his skill from the Flame Emperor, what happens to him when the MC gets getting back in time for 11 years ? Does Flame Emperor goes back in time without him knowing ? Or the MC goes to parallel worlds everytime he dies and kill the young Flame Emperor ?

Only the mc goes back in time, look at it this way: "the one who dies is the one who retains their memories" the mc travels back before flame Emperor awakened his ability and killed him, at that point, flame Emperor stays dead because he can't reset the day yet

I'm on chapter 12, but the unbelievably op mc abilities + choppy dialogue/translation makes the story painful to read. Does the writing get better, and is there any real drawback to the mc's ability, or is it completely busted. I'm deciding whether to keep reading or not.

don't worry translation quality will get better. The op skill will soon get more restrictions later on. The writing quality takes a huge leap so stick with it it won't be a generic story.

On chapter 45 now. The skill is still busted. Translation quality slightly better but still not very good. Interesting Mc with wanting to help others, but no other characters seem very interesting or even very real. I'm not enjoying the story even if it may improve later :c

Quality is okay but whenever Raviel is mentioned story quality takes a drop. Gongja spews a third rate romance novel's lines whenever he describes his love for her.
