I've yet to read this novel, and from what I have seen from the comments, the opinions are divided into two extremes one group overpraises it, and the other group disagree. Anyways straight from LOMS and I really hope it wont be a step down.

It's a fairly slow pacing, with action sequences spread out few and far in between after 200+ chapters, from a story perspective and the religious overtones may be a little off-putting for some. However this is probably the most intelligent fantasy novel I have ever read, with topics ranging from music theory. . to science review processing. . to algebra, geometry, physics and quantum physics. . it's bananas when you get to those chapters. Yet somehow it all flows together into a cohesive story and still becomes pretty fascinating. Imagine the anime scenes about cooking and their excitement. . it's like that, but with those various topics from before. It's a good read, but the pace is pretty slow and action sequences are not very prominent in the story, but when it does happen, it's pretty exciting. There is a little bit of romance, but is very slow and not really a major focus. It's a 7/10. Good stuff, just not exactly my preference, science/math/music nerds will like it a lot.

I've read the comments before reading then read them again after reading about 30 chapters. I must say, it's really not a novel for those who loves thrill, and plots that are fast-paced. It's definitely not a novel where you would highly anticipate what could happen next, but at the same time it's also a novel that would make you curious on how the concepts, theories, ideologies and principles from realit6 can be tied together and turn into something fictional but not entirely high fantasy. It's practical and it's well written. It's more like the traditional fictional novels we had as kids and teens, something so rare to find on webnovels nowadays, so if you've got some free time to spare, this one is a good read that combines Science, Music, with fictional elements as Magic, Alchemic and so on. Don't read and believe too much on the comments, try to give it a read before actually deciding if you want to drop this one, who knows? It might be up to your taste and style.

I read around 200 chapters and do not find this novel exciting. It is well written and detailed but it lacks a certain element that makes me want to know what happens next. It is a little similar with Library of Heaven’s Path with the library, reincarnation, imposing as a strong mysterious figure. Unfortunately I will have to drop it. Hope you enjoy it

This novel is without a doubt the material that physicists and chemists use to pass the time, after reading 600 chapters I went back to studying the physics I saw in high school to delve deeper into the proposal of this author who is probably bald (all physicists are) . In short, it's a great novel if you like pure science. . . even if you don't understand anything.

if you wanna read a boring music wish-fulfilment novel that doubles as a middle school science lecture then read this. no explanation on how science gets to --> magic. they just spend 100chs talking about the periodic table and echo location and baam, mc can use magic based on those concepts. the tags are bait, its not a genius mc. he plagiarises basic scientific knowledge and music from past life. people in comments acting like taking middle school science and dumping it into a novel with no direction is good integration of science and fantasy. no, it just reads like a PowerPoint a science teacher would use to describe basic concepts. AND if you dont like any of the things i pointed out, well.. thats the entire novel. basically no action or MC using the magic. and when he does its just boring. if u like the sort of wish fulfilment where a bunch of npcs call the mc smart all the time for plagiarising work then this is for you.
