    Small rant here, I have really enjoyed the novel so far, but please please for future authors: Do not spend almost 10 chapters on fights of not even secondary characters, but tertiary ones. I understand completely that all of that was to show a point, but that same thing could have been reduced to a single chapter and it would have been the same. It feels like buying time for an arc to another with a really boring intermission.

      the chapters are also short af, and I think Asher was a lot more expressive than he is in the latter chapters.

    For ppl that are wondering whether u should read it, I'd say give it a shot sure but personally it isn't for me. Do wanna preface it by saying I dropped pretty early so it might get better the more u read. Anyways, the chapters are super short and the writing style is not for me, The writing doesn't really flow well and it feels super awkward. I wouldn't say its horrible but I am so confused how it is top 10, imo shouldn't even be remotely close.

      It highlights the MCs actions better than any other novel which is carried by the MC. If you look at the rankings most stories in the top 20 are carried by the MCs.
